If we include acoustic guitar then we have:
Leo Kottke, or the late Michael Hedges
Jan Akkerman

SHF P-51D and A-26 will be there….
They are also booked for the Leuchars airshow in Sep, according to the Leuchars website
If I remember correctly Nikon will only allow conversions of RAW files taken with a Nikon Camera with their own software, where as with Canon, Olympus etc you can use propriety software from the manufacturer or a third party utility such as Capture One, Adobe RAW Converter, or any number of shareware offerings.
As a Nikon user, I can confirm this is not so. Nikon RAW can be opened and converted by Photoshop, Adobe RAW converter, Pixmantec RawShooter, etc. In fact I use any of these instead of the Nikon offering!

Glasgow Uni is looking at losing around 280 staff in the next few months. In a message to staff, the Principal came out with the following line saying they were looking at…:
helping colleagues whose skills or aspirations are now less aligned with the University’s requirements to move on.

Daz, I’m surprised you haven’t got it already!

I have a feeling it is.
In the oral histories section of the book “Glasgow’s Spitfire” there is a section by a Jim Johnston DFC. Served with 157 Squadron during the war, and then 602 Squadron after the war.

As I said on another thread
I’m not going to back slap, it will only upset certain forumites.
well I am. As someone who is stuck at hte wrong end of the country, thank you for:
a) letting me see what I am missing
b) making me sick that I can’t take photos like that

I was in Gran CAnaria a week or so ago, and saw the DC7 from the coach. It’s in much worse condition than I thought :(. The strip at the aero club is used by 2 companies that do tandem skydiving from Cessnas, the jumpers landing on the beach at Playa del Ingles.
The other DC-7C at Las Palmas airport didn’t have a rudder when I saw it.

A BBC Micro, with 32K of memory and cassette. After a while I added a floppy drive; the chipset came as about 10 chips which had to be plugged into the motherboard without bending the pins. The great thing about having so little memory is it taught you to write compact code.
First steps into programming was a ICL mainframe. At the time Glasgow Uni didn’t have there own and timeshared the one at Newcastle. I think I’d scream if I ever had to use cards again :).
