A few from in the distance from Hayling Island this weekend. A Dragon Rapide on Saturday, shortly after 1pm, a Harvard later in the afternoon and the sound of a Merlin engine performing a display routine somewhere that I couldn’t see. Then this morning, a Proctor at about 9:30 and as I was going over the bridge to leave the island I happened to glance to the right and saw a Ju52 coming straight at me, prompting me to launch the car into the nearest car park and grab my camera.
Good to see SC harvard back in the air after its wheels up.
all the Battle of britain at home airshows too, all gone and forgotten.
I used to go to the Biggin shows in the 60s and 70s.

I note the small boy in the right hand side behind the 109 waiting for the Rossers to leave before he liberates some parts !
I wonder why the set the wings back to front and the canopy?
Battle of Britain weekend at Hendon this weekend so maybe heading for there or another celebration, could of been a plastic one I suppose.

But as in examples you posted the rates of ascent/descent are not shown. I think there’s a lot of guesswork going on here…..
Well even I can work out the rate of climb from the heights given, the speeds are incredibly fast so they aint a Cirrus passing over. yep a bit of guess work and a heads up for those who are interesting, but they are there and can be discussed.

Now I can certainly see these sqwarks but how do you know what they are other than the information in the panel?
If you watch them and see speed/rates of climb etc cannot be a 747
