No it is an aeroplane without an engine as it was designed for said implement. Tow an aeroplane without engine it would not be able to fly due to severe center of gravity issues for one. Yes you can dead stick landing without engine or engines
A glider is without its own power source, designed to glide, hence need something with an engine or motor to take it aloft, ie. aerotug / cable or a long hill preferably a 1/10.
