David they had to get some kind of dispensation and also do a crew formation flying prior to the tour and PA474 had to lead, at Duxford I doubt there would be time to get all the Hurricanes together and sign off, maybe BBMF with form on the rear of any main formation.
100% what it was David I did not even need the binoculars !
Well the hours are going to be right down for most of the BBMF aircraft for 2017. Good news they are on their way back to flight.

On Sunday afternoon the Seafury headed off past me to the NNE and returned about 50 mins later I am guessing to get some height for air testing, stalls etc, virtually over the top of the house on her return towards North Weald, lovely sound it was too!
