completely not the pilots fault just a bit of still air , thing is with Old Warden is you want to pop it down just over the hedge even though the runway has been extended
Thank you, here is a vid of the incident
you have the winning lottery ticket with that early Dunlop Hurri grip!!!
Great news it gives PT his funding for other projects. this really is not a negative its good that these aeroplanes get traded and allows for the resurrection of new acquisitions.
Hats off to PT for his collection that must be a staggering attack on the wallet department
Barley a scratch on her 😀
Brilliant, thank you Fouga nice to know its in public view
Did I see a very young Mark Hamment in white overalls? more commonly known as Mark 2 by the Harvard Formation Team

cheers Duxman, that must of been the silver one I see, only saw two not 3 but had to be them
Spitfire + silver 1 other not sure what heading S towards Southend maybe 2 seat Spit
The pilot was squawking and flew a plot which left the text on flightradr24 saying ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT’ exceedingly clever thing to do
Thank you YR for the update
Hats off to a great fully controlled landing doing as minimal damage that could of been done to the aeroplane. great to see the pilot walk away and the emegency services in attendance within seconds of it coming to rest you could not want a better conclusion to a very very sticky situation well done all.
Thanks Mark 12, there is always one this time its me 🙂
Seriously bad now on android can use the phone to view here
great news. hopefully PT will surprise us with a replacement aeroplane unless its to pay for his 2nd Spitfire but that must be well underway now?
