Seeing both PA474 and NX611 both in fine fettle and will be a long standing memorial within the UK of this raid.
Hats off to all of those that took part in this raid, all on the ground and in the air and lets not forget the loss of life over there too.
I would say its a prop base socket ( not sure of correct term) wooden blade which fits into the hub and the drive on the bottom for pitch control/ feathering. I am sure some of the clever ones will be along shortly
Fortunately some of those bits end up going towards keeping the non rusty bits flying or the restoration of non flying exhibits which do showcase to the public wide and far. B17 Whitley Project Wyvern Hurricane Stirling Im sure others can be added to the list
