Yes you are correct it is C4K-61 G-AWHF, sold by Connie Edwards, Big Springs, TX and transported to the UK in 2010 as a damaged fuselage and a set of wings. Stored by its owner at Little Gransden, until sold to Germany in 2014. The ex English owner has been contacted and refuses to tell who he sold the project to, sadly seven years on this airframe is the only remaining BOB film participent to remain in hiding.

Any current British owner wish to make themselves known ??????????????
Wieesso,
Now you have made it all the more difficult by throwing the THIRD c/n into the ring! :D:DHowever, I think we can discount G-AISX. It is difficult to read accurately, but this
http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/HistoricalMaterial/G-AISX.pdf
seems to indicate it as “withdrawn from use following sale to ……….. (unreadable) on the 28.01.51. Only to reappear in 1983. I find it hard to believe that the ID of this aircraft was used in the rebuild of BCYS, and then REUSED to build what was to become TF-GEV, but stranger things have happened, I know:rolleyes: At the end of the day it comes down to not trusting everything written on the internet (only SOME of it).Regarding the crash at Tungubakkar in 1988 I can say, with certainty, that it was not the registration TF-CUP that was involved, but TF-GEV. Same serial (whatever it is) but different reg. After TF-GEV crashed, it was rebuilt by a good friend of mine and I KNOW that no other “identity” was used in it´s rebuild, only a bit of new tubeing and wing spars etc. So, no chance of an identity mix up there.
What is somewhat irritating is the serial 43-30546(N). What does it mean? I´ve never seen it before.
Now, all I need to know is if serial 44-86094 has the c/n 12990, and then I can maybe make some sense of this mess!
Could the serial number have been mis-typed or written by the various registering authorities ?
44-86094 when changed to 44-80694 is proper to c/n 12990.
It’s easy to reverse numbers round when copying information.
G-AISX was withdrawn from use following sale to Wolverhampton Aviation.
Hopefully this may make some sense of this mess.
Sorry to further complicate matters, but I also note that G-AISX and G-BCYS have both been owned by the same family at some time in their histories.
