One of the “American-Classic-Aircraft” 😉 magazines did a story on the C-119.
Apparently, they replaced the 4-bladers with 3-bladers for a more authentic C-82 look. I believe it is powered by 3350’s.

Blackburn Firebrand ?

AFAIK, the Firebrand only had 4-bladed props, but that was what I thought of.

Looks like it’s a side-by-side biplane so my first guess would be a Waco of some sort.

Was it a military aircraft at some stage ?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They were well loved by their crews despite being doggggggggg slow !!
Retired in 1939, were mostly relegated to target-towing and tug.
Don’t believe anything of them survives (unfort).
