Four more home.
Rest easy, lads, and thank you.
Sad news, indeed.
My local branches (Nottingham and Derby) have very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Two of the assistants in the Nottingham branch know me by name…
Following TO23‘s shameless plug (;) ), a shameless endorsement from yours truly…
A few years ago, while passing, I called in to NAM. After a quick browse, I left with a 1:72 Convair B-36 under my arm. Bargain at £35.

Shouldn’t that be “elusive”? :p

The long tubular piece is definitely Wellington/ Warwick.
I have a similar, shorter piece in my collection, which was recovered under licence from a local site some years ago.
Dear oh dear, Jim, as ex-Plod, you of all people should know that there is no such thing as the “slow lane” or “fast lane”! :p
On the motorway, one should kep left (Lane #1), unless overtaking slower vehicles. Lanes #2 and #3 are for overtaking!
Pedant Mode OFF. What passes for normal service resumed.
Oh, and in reference to the OP, that David Whitaker chap is a Grade 1 t0sser. I encounter berks like him almost every day.

I’ve been at work for the past few days, so, much to my chagrin, I’ve missed most of the recovery (I’m now playing catch-up).
Congratulations to the RAFM for the recovery; whilst I would love to see the Dornier fully restored and sitting alongside its contemporaries, we should be grateful that this example has been recovered, and will be displayed.
Don (my real name)
I would guess that “my bad” means “my mistake”.
If someone utters “my bad” in my presence, my reply is, “Your bad what? Breath? B.O.? Haircut? Dress sense?”
That usually shuts them up…

Reading into the story a little more, I have to say I agree with you, re Farian…
Anyway, some of my favourite 80’s tracks… This list is not exhaustive!
Tiffany – I Think We’re Alone Now
Scorpions – Wind Of Change
Police – Every Breath You Take
It may have been easier to list my favourite solo artists and bands, so here goes:
Level 42, Genesis, OMD, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Human League, Belinda Carlisle, Police, Depeche Mode (before they went “weird”), The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, and quite a few more.
I’ve just rediscovered two Debbie Gibson CDs. (Remember her?)

Marcel Marceau was a famous mime artist.
Milli Vanilli were famously exposed for lip-synching (i.e. miming) during their live concerts.

Ah. Milli Vanilli.
Reminds me of a joke:
Q. What’s the difference between Marcel Marceau and Milli Vanilli?
A. **** all.
