There are several I quite like:

    Jupiter II (Lost in Space).
    Fireball XL5.
The Akira Class starship from Star Trek.

However, my favourite of all has to be Spindrift from Land of the Giants.

About 5 years ago, I built a model of this ship from foam and GRP.
A custom build for a friend, she is 4 ft. long, and has interior lighting.
I’ll see if I can find the pics…

Some nice finds there, Graham… 🙂

The circular object at top right in your second pic – I found one of these at a Mosquito crash site recently.

…hopefully a data plate will be along shortly!

Will it be at L*g*nds? :D:diablo:

    Sorry…

You could try contacting the RAF Museum to obtain copies of the AM Form 1180 for those aircraft.

…If you are a modeller of good ability it probably won’t be worth it!…

I consider myself as a modeller of average ability, and it still isn’t worth it! :diablo:

    Very impressive model though…

…each to his own I suppose, but I can think of around 100 other things I might rather do… 😉

Watching paint dry, and counting the number of pine needles on the rather large conifer in my back garden are just two of my “100”…

Out of “interest” ( I use the word advisedly), can someone please remind me what Katie Price is famous for, apart from possessing a large pair of prop spinners and being (formerly) married to an Australian one-hit wonder?

Great photos, particularly the shots of the steam locos. Love that Beyer-Garratt.

Hopefully next year, I shall be visiting South Africa, Cape Town.

Thanks for sharing those with us.

    Another Update…

    Another ridiculously lenient sentence. 😡

Despite the defendant’s “apology” to the people of Derby, the crime was clearly premeditated.

atr42 – That very question is asked in the Comments section. Why indeed.
