Kev, thank you for your wonderful contribution.

I shall be at my local War Memorial, as usual.

On a personal note, I will be remembering family members who were lost in both World Wars, one, a WWII casualty, is still with his aircraft..

After the service, I will be off to a local air crash site.

    Another one:

Keane – A Bad Dream (based on the W B Yeats poem An Irish Airman Foresees His Death)

    Blenheim. Without any doubt.

Looks to me like a Bristol Mercury, if so, possibly off a Blenheim.

Just found this, and answered my own (rhetorical!) question:

In one of the Dark Peak Aircraft Wrecks books by Ron Collier, there are indeed some rather large sections visible in the (very old, probably 1960s) photographs of Heyford K6875’s crash site.

It would be interesting to know what happened to these sections; are they the ones held by the RAF Museum?

I’m surprised that no-one has mentioned Enola Gay by O.M.D. 😀

It has been mentioned by several of my “friends” that I am full of hot air, so:

    99 Luftballons – Nena

Up, Up, and Away (In My Beautiful Balloon) – The Fifth Dimension

I’m sure I can come up with a few more, but it’s getting late… :D:D

Nice job, Peter! Very impressive!:cool:

I built a 1:350 Titanic quite a few years ago, and that nearly drove me bananas. OOB too…

I shall be watching this one! 🙂

Was anybody tempted to go up behind the photographer with a blown up crisp packet ?

Evil, Mr. Hindenburg, just evil! :D:D:D

    Stumped…

All I can find are references to Lt. Thomas Selfridge… Though I am in agreement that the photo doesn’t look much like Virginia.

    Another clue, please… 😀

I have a couple of friends who are continually banging on about how good HDTV is. Now, I personally cannot tell the difference!
Is it just my dodgy eyesight?!

SHV should be fun then… :D:D
