    From Good Morning Vietnam:

Adrian Cronauer: “Jesus, that guy’s as boring as whale s**t.”

A phrase much used by yours truly in meetings, etc. :D:D

Sire, I don’t understand the smiley you followed this with.

    Actually, OS, neither do I…
    Deleted accordingly! :D:D

You are perfectly correct with regard to volcanic gases, etc.
Climate change is an ongoing, cyclic process.
I was watching a documentary about fossils & paleontology (sp?), and it was pointed out in the said programme that evidence of past climate change is to be found in the rocks.
Even to someone like myself who studied fossils and geology – albeit briefly – the evidence is quite obvious.

A few more home. May they now rest in peace.

    Thanks for posting Mark.

My partner’s grandson can not only tell the difference between a Lancaster and Halifax, but can also identify Welllington wreckage! 😮
(His pronunciation of ‘geodetic’ needs some work though! 😀 )

He is 7, and has already expressed an interest in a walk to a crash site.
Along with his sister, he is pretty clued up as to what happened in WW2, and the meaning of Remembrance Day. Am I proud of them? D@mn right!

While flying to Lanzarote last week (13 November, TCX517K), I just happened to glance out of the window in time to see a bright green light below.
Very briefly I thought it was some ar53 still using fireworks, until I got it full-on… A passenger seated several rows in front of me informed a flight attendant.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but here’s a little equation, as I see it:
“Global warming” + “climate change” + “Carbon footprint” = Govt. excuse for more taxes :mad:

Do post a picture of your current vehicle and we’ll judge the relative ‘stupidity’ levels 😉

    Moggy

    O.K., here goes…

    1998 Rover 214 SI
    1973 Leyland Leopard coach
    1975 AEC Reliance coach

At 11.1 and 12.3 litres respectively, and with DERV prices at the current level, needless to say the coaches don’t get out much…

On The Buses was, and still is, one of my favourite classic comedy series.

Weren’t some of the Lancaster remains mounted & sold to raise cash for the Museum at Wickenby?

I seem to recall seeing parts from this aircraft for sale at Newark a while back…

They seem to be Series 2, judging from an earlier enquiry to my local store.

I shall be looking out for these models; I still need the Lancaster and Fortress to complete my collection!

DazDaMan, Corgi were purchased by Hornby earlier this year:
