Current franchise is currently valid into 2008. Wonder what Loganair would have to do to get out of it earlier.

rumor has it that we (MAN) are gettin AA so LBA may be gettin AC in replace of AA dont ask me why, that just whats been going round MAN, and then we will get AD, who knows!

But why has AC been re-regd to N254DG?

    Have Jet2 decided against it?

    To clarify

flyglobespan still hopes to obtain US DOT approval and operate their own Boeing B767 a/c based at GLA . However, if this approval is not forthcoming, the first a/c will be sub-leased to Icelandair (On their AOC), who will then operate the a/c on behalf of flyglobespan. The second a/c is due in Oct (Again ex Air New Zealand) and is scheduled to be MAN based

It appears that Highland advertising for ATR crews is just a technical thing.

The ATR’s operate under the Highland AOC for Air Atlantique. Therefore, it is Highland who have to hire crews

Perhaps they are needed to cover the Atlantic Express scheduled service operation.

Thanks for all the input. They’ve all been added in

Just to clarify, these are options, and not orders. Although origionally the option is for the B777, there is the provision for this to be changed to the B787. Seems that no firm decision will be made (public) for a while yet.

Does anyone have any more information of the two Jet2 acquired 757’s?

Jethro’s website states that they have been acquired and are due. Does anyone know where from and which aircraft they are?

3rd one due at Lasham today (Ex US regd)
4th one is POSSIBLY the Air Scotland a/c

Allegedly, also leasing a 146 from Flightline to op MAN/LGW
