Apologies for being a pedant. The fighter was either unique i.e. there was only one or there were more than one in which case it would be rare, or unusual but not unique.
As I said apologies………!!!
Planemike
You are not being a pedant. Unique only has one meaning, as you correctly state.
But the discussion seems to be moving from concern about formation warbird displays to concern about the display of warbirds per se.
If a great deal of time and money has been spent on restoring an aircraft to flight it seems to me it should be flown for the benefit of its owner, pilot and spectators. Otherwise they all might just as well repose, gathering dust, in museums.
Malta has been suggested but Skeggie – now there’s a thought and the city would be – err – Lincoln, of course!! And it being late October they really wouloud get to know Lincoln well!!:D

Every time since, I never have more than a few quid to spend anyway.:p But if I had 100 grand she would be doing alright anyway, so it wouldn’t matter!!
I liked the combination of descriptive text and photos to follow and having attended the show it brought it back to life. However my only criticism is that if you are going public with a website you cannot afford spelling and grammatical errors. Tip for the next revision – spellcheck.;) Otherwise – I look forward to your Legends story, if you are attending.:)
But no city in the vicinity………….poor old Cloud 9 – looks as though Florida is his best bet.:)

No one is denying that there is an inherent danger in formation aerobatics. Those who participate and those who watch take a calculated risk. But we take calculated risks in many activities so I fail to understand the arguments against close formation aerobatics. Over the last say 50 years how many aircraft and how many pilots have been lost whilst flying the displays?
In am looking forward to a marvellous days flying.
