Now it has snowed – a bit. I had to drive through town during the “school run”! It was as though most of the 4x4s in Kent were on the road, being driven as though the drivers had never driven before.:mad:

Sorry to bump this, but there are a few rumours in the air about the show being revived at Goodwood, North Weald and Manston having been ruled out. Does anyone know any more? I don’t see how a grass airfield is a good substitute for Biggin.

Perhaps this should be in Historic?

In the name of balance, it would be even more interesting if the same access was available to EVERY nation’s confidential dealings. But then of course it wouldn’t be so much fun for the anti-US brigade.

Unfortunately the general standard of driving, in the sense of awareness of the conditions and other road users, is poor so when conditions are bad the problem is exacerbated.:(

Few actors have bettered his ability to play comedy straight so as to maximise the laugh. He was brilliant and thank goodness his films and the classic TV series “Police Squad” will live on to remind us of him. Typing this I am chuckling as I recall many of those seminal scenes.
