Chox – posting as a rank amateur I find this image extrordinarily effective. There is something about the graininess of it and the angle, which appeaks to me very much. Is your book a re-appraisal of the whole sorry saga or are you shedding new light on the story?
Marvellous, nostalgic photos – my first Farnborough!!

Good grief! You’ve certainly got somewhere to moor it if you had one!
“….true-life (his words!) stories of aliens and UFOs…..” Something of an oxymoron in that sentence I think.;)

I would be surprised if anyone has a bad word to say about this warm, funny, gentle man. I recall a marvellous interview double act, a few years ago, with him and Rick Wakeman, neighbours on the Isle of man, exuding humour and mutual appreciation. If he is revered here just think how his death will be greeted in Albania!!

Stan hyd – is there in fact, any likelihood of what you suggested, actually happening? Why should a hand-over of leadership provoke a US attack? I enjoy “what if” scenarios but only if they are rooted in some degree of reality.

Surely the fuss is because, insidiously, the retailers are switching to meat slaughtered in a manner demanded by effectively 4% of the population of this country, who seem to determining changes in the way we go about our business out of all proportion to their numbers.
In case of doubt I am referring to the Muslim population of the UK, who are more than welcome here as long as they are prepared to accept our laws, statutes and norms of social interaction.
