Instead of trying to link the Islamic religion and its followers to the problems in Europe, you should be asking what Christian fascists (like your former President Bush) had done to his world to provoke so much hatred. Obviously I don’t expect you to do that, because I strongly believe you lack both the guts and the intelligence to do so.

More ignorant extremism here – so now we have Bush as a Christian facsist being blamed for problems which preceded his Presidency by a long way.

Why doesn’t this “budding writer” take all the carefully thought out, constructive comments and criticisms and the few encouraging words and GO AWAY and think long and hard about it, them spend a month re-writing and then, and only, then offer us all something worthwhile to read.:(

I admit that this is very simplistic but if a man has a bomb and his intention is to blow me up, my instinct is to blow him up first. I MIGHT be able to reason with him but if his original aim was my annihilation it is unlikely that anything I will say will dissuade of his original intent. And then my delay might be the end of me anyway.

That’s interesting, thanks. I am seeking advice. There is bound to be an element of “well they would say that wouldn’t they” as Chrome is a potential threat to Microsoft on several levels at the moment.

Sorry, not sure what that means. I have been using Chrome since it went “live” and have never had any problems. I also use Firefox. Both are excellent, and in my experience, trouble free.

Here’s a question:

Would it be as effective simply to conduct recon/human intel on Afghanistan and them simply bomb offending parties instead of occupying the entire country?

If it was that simple it would probably have been tried. I suspect that the recon/human intel cannot always be relied on and that the Taliban will be deeply embedded in their loyal communities and NATO could simply not risk the global wrath which would result from dozens of innocent deaths. They were forced to learn that lesson in Iraq.
