I suspect there is more to it than that footage reveals, Linc. My guess is that she does know what she is doing in the same way the Adamsons did and others who have spent time trying to learn more about these magnificent creatures. I don’t know, but watching her interaction closely suggests she was not fooling around. But of course any human interaction with wild animals is potentially very dangerous and many have died in the process.
