ermmmm, you’ve answered your own question haven’t you????I think I knew about this aircraft a while back, is it a project?
Guess I’m just out of the loop on this one…:o
With regards to Digby’s comment regarding this “dull assuming board”…sorry you saw the board this way…although the board has it’s quiet moments, we do have some lively discussions/banter here that I enjoy (guess if it’s dull, I must be a boring old fart before my time at the age of 24!:p )
I for one, am always happy to see new members on the board…after all, variety is the spice of life 🙂

Eh what? Lysander? What have I missed?

Back to the original topic…yes the LA-9 has arrived at Duxford…a team of engineers are currently reassembling her…her wings are still packed up but the rest of the aircraft looks pretty complete…I look forward to seeing her fly at Duxford…
With regards to the other arrival…it’s not for the OFMC by the looks of it…didn’t have time to check out Hanger 2 today, will have a look tomorrow…

With regards to “Princess Elizabeth” I very much doubt we’ll see her flying this season, but would love to be proved wrong 🙂

P*** off :p 😉 😀
P*** off :p 😉 😀
The two museums at Manston are two of my favourite places in the world…there is just something about Manston that does it for me 🙂
When I was a student at the University of Kent, I spent a most enjoyable day as a volunteer there…I only wish I could have spent more days like that there…:)

Invitation accepted, thank you 🙂
As Kev has already said, if there is any way we can help…don’t hesitate to ask
Becka
Make me a probable attendee (must remember to stock up on nibbles first! :p )

It is an IWM organised event for Father’s Day…ten Spitfires are expected in the static line-up with three of these taking to the skies at 3pm…Battle of Britain pilots will be in attendance and there will be an Aston Martin club gathering too…
A special gift pack is available for those who are interested – see http://www.iwm.org.uk/duxford/press11.htm for more info

To be fair Willow, it does say “current list of expected participants for 2003”, but it does look remarkably like last year’s list to me…
