Jacquard Spitfire and Corsair arrived just over an hour ago, accompanied by some black jet thingy – looked like a Hawk, but only got a brief glimpse through the Runway Cafe window as they made a quick pass – their arrival nearly caused a mass stampede out the door.
Also recently arrived at Duxford, a substantial formation of forumites, now refueled and no doubt currently wandering around Duxford pointing their big pointy things at everything.
Uggggh – my bum is still damp from sitting on the wet picnic table outside the cafe…
Glad to hear you made it home safely Tim, see you tomorrow.

Phillip – what are you on, and where can I get some? 😀
No camera with me today, but as of this morning, most of the roof panels are now in place on the extension on the side of the hangar where the old entrance and shop were…presumably work is progressing at a similar rate on the other side of the building (when one is whizzing round the M11 roundabout in the morning one tends to keeps one’s eyes trained on the road as much is possible :D)
Dave…it’s what is sometimes referred to as the ‘Bulldog spirit’ – we don’t give up, and refuse to be beaten.

Dave…I was the moderator who deleted your thread. I felt that it was not the right time to be asking if Flying Legends would still be going ahead, and I was not the only person to think this too. Although I am not necessarily of the opinion that such events should be cancelled, the timing of your original thread was ill advised in my opinion.

Ladies and gentlemen, can we please keep this thread away from discussions of who might be behind this attack, making accusations etc – there will be a time and a place for that. For now, can we please just think of those who have lost their lives and those who are injured, and keep the many people stranded in London in our thoughts.
Thank you.

Very relieved to hear that your Dad is safe Stewart.

Mmmm…a subject close to my heart 😀 I used to love Philleas Fogg tortilla chips until they changed the recipe and added COCOA – ok, cocoa is often used in Mexican food, but bleeeeeeeeeeeeurgh! Then I switched to Sainsburys chilli tortilla chips which were great, but the last couple of packets seemed very tame and too sweet. I love Walkers Thai Chilli Sensations, and Kettle Chips, particularly the salt and black pepper flavour 🙂

~Coughing in Steve’s direction~ 😉
Yes, good film, ended a bit abruptly I thought, but still good 🙂
