Busted…what a trio of prize pricks…I would dearly love to slap them with a HUGE wet fish because
1) Some people criticise The Darkness for being over-the-top, floppy haired, cat suit wearing, theatrical, glam rock loving muppets…but The Darkness seen to know what game they are playing and ham it up all the more…the last laugh is on those who fail to see that The Darkness are deliberately cheesy…Busted on the otherhand try so hard to convince people that they are “serious” guitar players, and that their style is kinda punk rock, not pop. Hah! What a load of rubbish! I’ve got nothing against pop, in fact I like a lot of it – but I like artists who are honest with themselves, not jumped up little ****s like Busted.
2) Following on from no1…the guitar “playing”…they don’t play, they bloody mime! One of them seems to be able to play, the other two just stand there with their fingers fixed on the fret in the same place even when the music being played is obviously demonstrating a few chord changes and such (it’s been a long long time since I played guitar so please excuse me if my phrases are kinda off kilter)
3) They think they are god’s gift to women…Purrlease! First of all there’s the one with the eyebrows, or should I say eyebrow…guys, big bushy eyebrows that look like you’ve got slugs taped to your forehead are just NOT sexy…invest in some tweezers please! Secondly, there’s the one who looks like he’s got a mop on his head and a look on his face like someone has just inserted a hot chilli up his rectum…and the third one wears waaaaaaaaaay too much foundation…one of the first lessons of makeup wearing is to blend your foundation properly along your jawline to avoid tidemarks (there you go guys, you learn something new every day huh? 🙂
4) Their music is crap (although Year 3000 is listenable) The rest of it I would rather pickle my eyeballs than listen to it.
5) They are crap. End of story.
