Glad to hear you all enjoyed the day guys and gals…and sorry to hear about the Red Lion at Hinxton, I had no idea it didn’t open until 7pm! That sounds incredibly stupid to only open for 3 1/2 hours on a Sunday evening…what a bunch of muppets! 😡 Common sense should tell them that as they are only a couple of miles from Duxford, come closing time at the Museum people are quite likely to go in search of food and drink before going home :confused:
Sorry I didn’t make it to either pub, by the time I had locked up the cinema and tidied up, I had a stinking headache and would have been c*** company in the pub.

Between us yesterday we raised £103.81 for the Mark Hanna Research Fellowship (still wondering where the penny came from :)) I’ll throw in some loose change and make it up to £105 and pass the money on to the Fellowship secretary.
Was good to see old friends and make new ones too yesterday.

P.S. Alexis…don’t worry about “hogging” the raffle, you paid for all those tickets and I am sure the Research Fellowship will be very grateful for that (and Mark’s family and friends too)
