There is another Yak 3 on the register as well, registered to a Kent based owner, although unflown since it had an incident a few years ago.

Swiss target towing aircraft with all the numbers and letters – not sure if that was ever assembled – sat there like a giant abandoned wasp for a long time.

Thats the IWM FW190 which was refurbished at Duxford in the late 80’s, there is a Yak 11 in the pic mixed up with the Schlepp, thats the project which came across from France and later went away to be made into a Yak 3… My guess would be either late 1987 or 1988.
