That must be why you moved to California then Mike :p
The red Sea Fury went to Australia for rebuild (it hadn’t been with OFMC for a while by the time it left). The Fury FB10 went to South Africa and later to Australia (where it came from in the first place)

Overhead Old Buckenham airfield Norfolk, heading North. A black or dark coloured Fokker Dr.I Dreidecker
A replica (?) Alternatively a really spooky haunted airfield story?

G-CFHY maybe? Was at Tibenham for a while but may have moved.
Looks a very nice aircraft, where has the right hand exhaust shroud gone in the photos of it with the cowlings on?
Extremely sad news indeed.
Be good to know what talks you have coming up in the future, I can then try to time one of my many trips to Corby to coincide with the talk…:)

Looks very nice, congratulations to all involved.
There was a P40 out and about on Saturday
Thanks for letting us know.
About Half Ten ok?
Just after Tea Break.

OK great, I’ll book the morning off work and make sure my camera has plenty of film, see you then.
Very nice pictures, particularly Boeing’s finest.
Great to see some of the bits I missed yesterday such as the Hot Rods (I want one…) and the models.
Does this qualify??

Looks like the rear cover star of the recently produced Warbirds over Britain 2012 Charity Calendar. Available from warbirdsoverbritain@yahoo.co.uk
Isnt this the second statement that Mr Jackson has released regarding the cause of the accident? The first IIRC blamed the pilot for changing the trim during the race (or something along those lines) I think I will wait for the official report.
Damaged beyond repair in an off airfield landing some years ago IIRC
I thought the Hurricane XII was for sale so the owners could concentrate on the Demon.
I see the sense in buying the Wildcat. I just hope the Demon stays here. Is it of any real interest to the Americans? Lets hope we can see the two Nimrods with the Hind and Demon at some point, even in a hangar.
2 different owners, the Hurricane is owned by the Historic Arircraft Collection, they also have a Nimrod and the Fury, but not the Demon.
