Possibly later this week, if all goes according to plan. 😎
Well yes there is that, I was thinking more about any shows it may attend….
Peter Vachers Hurricane and TFC’s Curtiss Hawk perhaps???
Other than starting a new job in January, I hope first of all to continue my efforts to improve a Stearman, build a few more hours on the 172 and go for a tailwheel conversion on the Auster V.
Other than this I hope to be able to continue to do a little bit towards keeping a small fleet of aircraft in the air and around the airshows.
That is an incredible sight to see, thanks for sharing.
You have a very good point there Rob, can’t wait to see some more Hawker biplanes take to the air.
That one has gone to Cosford, again if they don’t want it I’ll gladly give it a home.
When they find an RAF Mustang can I have the one on the spinning table please????? I’d look after it I promise… I’d even put the prop blades in the correct pitch setting.
This may be very true, however it’s apparently the Cruise Liaison car!!!!! Whatever that may mean. Probably something to do with the Chavs that drive up and down Yarmouth sea front in mutant hatchbacks in the Summer
Out the back here we have Volvo’s, Mondeo’s, Focus’ Transit’s etc, and a Lotus Exige for some odd reason…. Must ask why…
Not quite the same although they are interchangeable. The Mustang wheels for example do not have the casting for the Dzus fastners needed to attach the wheel covers. The casting is also different around the holes in the wheels. Other than that pretty much the same.
Would that be a problem???? Would certainly make life interesting…..
I’m still waiting to hear back from AA about it…… It would be very nice to go by DC3/6 etc.
What a fantastic tip John, I’ll suggest it, particularly as Sarah’s sister lives in Coventry…..
I’ll try to remember this the next time a friend of mine suggests ‘getting the toys out of the cupboard’ Lets hope it’s not long until Spring time!!!!!!
As I understand it the repairs are progressing steadily.
