My perfect day would involve flying on a calm summers evening, before relaxing with a number of beers and a chinese

You were there! Now I know who is to blame for it getting out. I’ve spent 11 years wondering that.

Have you got a pic of what she looks like now?

Ummmmm, yes I was there, can’t claim to have swapped polish for yellow paint though 😮

This is what happened to the aircraft after it returned to America, some people just can’t be trusted  (from airrace.de)

Glad you still have the Mustang over there, any chance of posting some pics after the weekend?

    Thanks

Is Double Trouble Two still in Switzerland? There was a rumour recently about it having found new owners within Europe, any truth in this?

I was talking about UK-US. This only applies to aircraft over a certain weight category as well, for example the are a number of Stearman operating perfectly happily on the American register in the UK.

I also think some of the Fighter Collection warbirds flew for a number of years on US registrations, if I’m not mistaken, and have only recently (ie, within the last couple of years) taken up UK regs.

A lot of Warbirds flew in thr American register for a number of years, however the CAA closed this loophole a while ago. From memory I think you now have 3 months in which to re register a warbird in the UK.

I’m pretty sure that looking at the provisional programme Sally B has a display slot of a reasonable length, however I don’t have this in front of me right now.

Unless the Sally B website means flypast as in not landing? At the moment I don’t know but I will see if I can find out more this evening unless someone beats me to it.
