Look closely at my Avtar Whalebone, I think Rowhedge may be under there somewhere.

I saw a very nice Mustang this evening, unfortunately it was on the ground, however it’s owner let me fly his Stearman, so can’t be that bad I guess.

There must be loads of piccies around of unusual paint jobs on vintage aircraft, here is one I took about 10 years ago of a DC-3 at Ipswich Airport, not a good scan but it will do for starters……….

Poor old aircraft (and airport come to that) maybe David Burke can update us as to her progress back to health.

has anybody heard anything about the BF 109s in Colchester or there locations as I live there and wish to offer my services as my work experience was at Duxford in September 03 on the DH Mosquito TT. 35

Craig is still working on the 109 projects in the Colchester area, one is progressing very well although I’ve not seen it for a little while.

Just make sure you have enough room to operate a spade grip in the cockpit before you try flying the thing.

If you don’t publish what is due to attend them nobody can hang you if something fails to show. Just look at all the fuss was made when the Hurricane didn’t fly last year, bet they wished they’d kept it hidden away at Earls Colne now and not bothered. That and the fuss made when one of the other fighters was only there on the Saturday and not both days. Perhaps if people would just chill out a bit more some more information may be forthcoming.
