Who or what is Area 51????

Not sure if Bedsheet Bomber will need a home before much longer

David Arnold now seems to have a new home for his containers.

Doesn’t Robs keep a lot of his stuff down at his farm?

That aside my letter is with the council and I will back it up again today (got a different address now)
    :p

If Jumping Jaques needs a home I’m sure I can find it one.

Be careful what you say about OFMC aircraft, someone will have you for it.

Nice enough Mustang, seems to be improving steadily. Not as good as the best though. 😀 😀 😀 😀

I agree the Mitchell is in a sad state. I had a good look at it 10 years ago and it wasn’t a pretty sight then, to be honest I’m suprised it’s still standing.
North Weald is home to some wonderful aircraft, but there are also those that cause some concern the B25 being one, the orange Catalina being another. I hope the Cat finds a home before much longer I keep seeing it advertised for sale from time to time I would hate for it to end it’s days there.

I don’t know about you guys but I think Peter Teichman’s Staggerwing has a bit of dirt on it, those wheels really aren’t as shiney as they used to be 😀 😀

Lovely shot of the Spitfire, I think I can see my face in it.

The B25 is slowly returning to nature. 😡

I’m not sure is that’s your face or the squadron insignia you can see on the Spitfire 😀

    Wot no Mustangs???????

Good to see the Mitchell looking as pristine as ever, just hope the DC4’s don’t go the same way, they don’t look to have been too active in the last 12 months.

Fair point, I was coming from the ‘being hard on the aircraft’ (and ego) point of view. I have the greatest of admiriation for anybody who straps themselves into a Warbird and runs along the ground at 300mph and does all that twiddly stuff.

Ps “Best of the best” we are in the UK not out at Mirromar.

Well said Digby, I can think of a number of people who may take exception with the original statement.

If they bring aircraft from the US then I guess we get around 9 which could make life interesting. Give it a year and we may get a couple more.

    Thanks Mark,

I thought those were the serials but as my world is inside cardboard boxes at the moment I wasn’t sure. Any idea where they are now? Didn’t Craig Charleston have one of them at one point?
