What who wants you to think?
Don’t tell me this thread will be deleted soon as well:(
Yes
Harriers don’t need any help in being shotdown, they fall out of the sky all on their own.
No there are no Mustangs at Wittering
Snapper and Ant, you are starting to ramble now, what on earth are you wittering on about.
First single release could be a cover of ‘Missing You’
Now that would be nice, anyone seen Janie lately?
You could be on to something there Eddie, perhaps that’s where the WoGB fleet went to during the 90’s
Tempests, what Tempests? I heard that the others were in India being restored in an underground restoration shop for use as weapons of mass destruction, is that not true then?

BTW this blokes mate Knows what happened to “Janie”at FL:eek:
Do you have the address for this blokes mate as I’m afraid we cannot allow this secret to be revealed.
As I understand it WoGB were involved with the Indian Tempests, no idea how many however. I would have thought it unlikely that some had been destroyed to prevent others from having them, however it may possibly be that the airframes were badly damaged or corroded and were then reduced to spares, I doubt we will ever really know for sure however.
NH238 is still about and is likely to be stored in a container.
Flying A had both a Corsair and a Hellcat, both of which have now been sold and are back in America. As for why everything disappeared after Doug Arnold sadly passed away I guess none of us will ever know the real reasons, however if it had stayed I guess the tax man would have wanted a big chunk of the collection.

There’s nowt common about a lovely spitfire especially when you keep finding bits from other airframes that you didn’t know were there 😀
So what you’re saying is that that old Spitfire is infact a cut and shut job, like a written off Escort?
