How would you move it without compromising the structure (or flying it)? My memory of the Belfast is that its a bit big.
Not the moment…

For crying out loud does it really matter? Whatever is said on here its not going to change a single thing. Just be grateful they’ve not been cancelled like so many other events this year.
Are we trying to nominate the best of a bad bunch???? 😮
Well its about time this Irish linen started moving then isnt it….
I agree that most RAF marked aircraft wear their military serial as a rule. However they dont have to, take G-MSTG, currently she carries an exemption from the CAA to carry the Markings of Major Bill Price’s Raydon based Janie and as such the serial 44-14419 (abbreviated to 414419). However in reality she was allocated the serial 45-11518 when leaving the factory and then spent the rest of her service life as NZ2427 in New Zealand.
Its been registered to Philip Warner in Worcestershire since October 06.
It was, yes
It changed owners about 18 months ago but thats about all I can find at the moment.
Personally I prefer the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Hendon is all too quiet for my tastes, last time I was at Yeovilton there was a bit of flying going on as well (even if they were Helicopters).
It looks red/orange all the pics I can find of it.
That Gladiator looks a bit good
Ooooh a kite with an engine, lovely 😮 😉
It’s life I’m afraid I have spent 20+ years volunteering on other peoples aircraft and I get way more out of it than money could buy. If the owners over the years felt like selling their property (as has happened to a collection worked on) then its entirely ther choice and they do not deserve to be slated on a public forum.
What is a Skyranger?
Did Skysport build it? I thought Hawker Restorations/AJD Engineering were building a replica for Hendon?
