Well our Canadian Airforce does like to get the most out of an airframe..they cost $425K new so that works out to about 10k a year plus upkeep…
That would a much better sight seeing aircraft departure Mountainview under their power instead in the back of a dump truck…
True that makes more sense that trying to ready a tutor for a ferry flight to Trenton or Moose Jaw

Any idea is the Tutors (with the engine installed) π are flown out of Mountainview, when they are returned to service with the snowbirds..or do you think they trailer them to Trenton to be returned to service..

I think I remember in previous discussions that these airframes for sale were only available to certain groups.. museum etc…I wonder if this DND policy will change in the future…

The 109 was a very popular attraction and I was happy to see her perform..the crowds did make photography and video challenging but at least it was sucessfull..the DB engine sounds great….
