I think it’s diverted about 3 or 4 times since PIA have started the route. Not even close to 50%. Rumour from someone close to PIA is that they are very happy with the route and would like to operate daily because the pax like to fly from their local airport and not Manchester.

The Onur Air to Bodrum last night was operated by a A300-600, don’t know how long its going to be operating the route.

    Air Bridge 1 = Stand 7
Is used mainly by KLM city Hopper’s. Fokker 70/100’s, Thomsonfly B757’s, bmi’s A320’s (But They over night on stand 6 most times) Currently nothing bigger than B757’s can’t park on stand 7 at the moment. Also this was partly owned by KLM when built.

Stand 7 Air bridge is used by the bmi A319/320 for each Heathrow service and night stops on stand 7. Jet2 737s sometimes use stand 7 when they have a quick turn around, the biggest aircraft that can fit on stand 7 are B737-800 and A320. If bmi use a A321 they have to use stand 8, B757s wont fit.

    Air Bridge 2 = Stand 8
All Large commercial aircraft. Also includes wide bodied stand. So B767 or B747’s have no problems. Jet2 seem to use this through the day when availble along with the likes of Astraeus, First Choice, Air Europa and the winter visits by Thomsonfly B767’s

I dont think a B747 would fit on stand 8, just big enough for a 763 at a squeeze. Normally if a B747 did come to LBA it would park across several stands, same for the A330 and DC10 when they came in. Also during the summer the KLM never parks on a Air bridge over night and normally parks on stand 6 or down the east end. Stand 6 will only fit B737s on.

Did you see this on the LBA website? EZE is the ICAO code for Eastern Airways. Easyjet have been to LBA several times on diversions from Liverpool.

Looking at Future Pilots photo links, in the third one the UA 777 operated from Orlando INTERNATIONAL (MCO) not Sanford (SFB).

Do you have a source or link from where you heard this, or are you just making it up?

This mornings LBA-Reus flight was in fact all acounts operated by one of Astraeus’s own Boeing 757-200’s which posistioned in from Manchester late last night about 23:55

    .
Looked like a 737 down on stand 18 this morning.

I thought the AEU Reus was operated by a Astraeus 737 this morning. The Blueline MD83 was parked there all morning.
