    Starfire,

I wouldn’t say the books are “RARE” – but they’re getting harder to find. Abebooks and Amazon are probably your best shots at finding a copy. Not to long ago I saw a copy of the “Stirling Files” and “The Whitley Files” on Ebay…
I found a copy of “The Lancaster Files” at Abebooks a few months back. It was well worth the price that I paid.

    Cheers,

    Todd

    Helican,

How about “The Whitley Boy’s” and for research purposes “The Bomber Command Losses” series???

    Cheers,

    Todd 😀

    Hello everyone,

Thank-you all for the quick responses! Indeed it seems that the RN liked to use names more than once with their vessels. Photo’s of the Euryalus sure are hard to come by… Do any of you know how I can find out what my Great Grandfather did onboard Euryalus?

    Kind regards,

    Todd

    Steve,

How about a static Whitley and Albemarle!?! A Stirling would also be nice.

    Re:Bomber Boys

Well the first part was very well done! You really get a feeling of what they went through in their training. The air base is the old station at CFB Picton. It would make a really good memorial living history museum with all the intact buildings etc.

    Peter,

It was a nicely done show. Thanks for the heads up! I especially enjoyed the aircrew commentary and footage of the 405 Squadron Lancs. I look forward to tomorrow nights episode.

    This should be easy!

    Hello Everyone,

I wish I was able to climb into the cockpit, but it’s forbidden.

    Well…
If it were possible… I’d buy the Handley Page Hampden at the Canadian Museum of Flight. It bothers me to see such an awesome aircraft sitting outside in the damp weather that we have here in British Columbia.

Secondly, I would probably write a nice FAT check to Elliott Smock. It sounds as if he needs a large hangar and more Whitley parts! 😀

    Cees or Elliott,

I don’t find Flypast magazine very often here in Vancouver. What edition will the Whitley Project be published in?

    Cheers,

    Todd

That sounds like an amazing Airshow! Now if we could only get the Hampden hooked up with a couple of Bristol’s…
