1) without peral harbour IMHO the us would ahve intervened like they did in WW! due to teh battle for the atlantic claiming US ships

2) if the US wasn’t there russia would have captured mos tif nto all of europe. the uk would capture greece, southern italy, maybe southern norway and northern france, but russia would control the bulk of europe.

it was russia who fought most of the war

yes i agree we are isolated because we see no reason to get invloved. we have free trade and we really need little else. we keep norder controls, we have our own currency and get little EU benifits comapred to outlay

on the brussles front its reffered to in the same way as americans refer to the people who live in washington DC. we think they are jsut evil burocrats. we jsut don’t trust the brussels civil service

its one of these joke things.

recently some guy who was decedant of the king of patongonaia set up a flag on some rocks off the chanel islands. all that was on these islands was a toilet or something stupid.

anyway the RN or some one turned up latter and took the flag down.

apparently the was siezing the islands in retalition for the “uk occupation of patogonaian lands” ie falklands. he also protested about chile and argentina too.

to quote elp the “people’s republic of californa” is where it s ok – it the us politicans from the eatsrn coal mining states that cause the problem. as its been pointed out most of america is ok but the caol mining area have the problem.

IMHO the use of solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear is the best way.
