    Even better than the first one, better paced and better explained. Astonishing colour footage. Some very well preserved pieces came out.

    Pity they didn’t scrap the Nativity rubbish and give more air time to DIG1940.

    Dig 1940 episode two Battle of Britain

    Just spotted this on youtube looks pretty good to me and with all that water about they even managed to wash some parts off for the viewers, maybe next week we will have alot less of the negative ways…Moriarty!!:diablo:

    I see this programme has also picked up another pick of the day in today’s newspapers for the 2nd week in a row

    Some lovely bits of stuff around. Brian, is that a Sea Harrier panel? Battle, B17 wheel? and Andy, which bit of the Luftwaffe is missing their swastika? Dirty Harry, that looks like a Welsh cupboard?! Here are some broken bits of P61. Radar panel from first dig in 86. Must have one of the first mentions of ‘video output’. Bottom is the throttle box, recovered twenty years later.

    On the topic of data plates this is a bit of a rarety recovered from a hawker typhoon

    Looks a nice trinket, wish i had one as i can make room in my cabinet!:diablo:
