There is an excellent tribute available to listen to on the Radio 4 site here
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/comedy/
Called “And It’s Good Night From Him”, under the Britain In A Box series. It was made last year and then updated this week with new interviews. Simply brilliant to listen to.

NZ National Radio paid a nice tribute to him too the day his death was announced, and I was pleased that they aired something I’d never heard before, Ronnie’s single release that he made which was cut down to become the theme tune to Porridge follow-up Going Straight. It was played in its entirity and is quite long. I managed to record the somg too. yey!

thanks for the link..but I still can’t make out what the heck is what..looks like a mess of reptilian skin

Yes, it isn’t easy. The TV news report had several other photos from better angles but I couldn’t find them on the web.

I have been known to offer my seat to females, and not just for the pretty ones. Usually because I get off the bus before most people so will be on it a shorter time and it makes it easier to get out when the time comes.

For those who have a dillemma though, try a compromise. Offer her your lap 🙂

    Yes, possibly suffocated.

I guess having its body crushed didn’t help too much either 😮

Rlangham, the ex-OFMC Corsair and P40 are now both owned by the Old Stick and Rudder Company in Masterton, in New Zealand.
