You’re welcome to be as disinterested as you want. As I have said before the haka is before the match, therefore it does not affect it one bit if you do not watch it. But stopping it for the sake of stopping it would go against most people’s wishes as most people enjoy it.

So glad you’re not in charge. Just imagine if we had to endure all that sweaty shouty line dancing because it was manadatory? It wouldn’t be half as much fun to watch.

What I actually said is you prove you are English by insulting and I said it because all through this thread there have been insults thrown willy nilly at NZ culture without the slightest care in the world that it might actually be insulting and offensive to New Zealanders to have their culture that they are proud of picked apart and ridiculed, and to tell us our culture should be banned just for your personal benefit.

This type of behaviour is part of English culture, it’s a well known trait, the English have never had high regard for others foreign to them. I thought it time to point this out to you lot, because to most English I is as natural as breathing to stomp over someone elese’s culture and beliefs.

Not all English people, many of them have respect for others, but generally it is the case and certainly in this thread. And I’m sure you cannot deny it. Millions around the world would certainly agree, I’m sure.

The Scots could do the same whilst singing Flower of Scotland and the Welsh while singing Land of my fathers.

The Scots and the Welsh do sing those songs at rugby games against the All Blacks, all the way through the match. Thousands of them.

And the English sing some American slave spiritual song about someone (the singer) on the point of death, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. I have never understood how it became an English rugby song, although the edge of death theme is increasingly appropriate I guess.

The haka is only a minute or so long, before the match begins. You lot can leave the television off till after it is over if you really want. But the UK teams’ supporters sing songs all the way throughout the whole game. And you say the haka is an annoying destraction, or unfair psychologically??

For continuity I suggest Sir Michael Caine for Park….

He can’t even do a proper English accent, he’d struggle immensely playing a kiwi. :p

When you see the excellent Battle of Britain films being made by amateurs with the IL2 flight sim these days on Youtube, surely a coupling of those excellent flight characteristics and the very good rendering of modern film quality CGI, people will neer know they are not looking at the real aeroplanes.

I have not seen anything about the supposed outrage of the French approach. I hate Facebook so missed that. But personally I thought it was great, it made for great spectacle to see a Northern Hemisphere team accept the challenge and throw it back like that. I had no problem with it at all.

As for your last sentence, you prove your Englishness by insulting two cultures now.

It actually looks smaller than I imagined from the various photos I’ve seen where it looked massive. Judging by some of the stories I have heard from veterans who flew them, a crime scene is probably appropriate.
