Well we have decided that after the WC’s we are going to take it on the road, no point spending all that time then not using it heh. Starting with the following competitions and shows

British Nationals
Top Gun Florida
Canadian Nationals
Las Vegas Scale Champs
Toledo Model Expo

Then off to donate to a museum,, we would like to see it next to the fully restored one (It’s big brother)

HP Hampden

Hi Folks,

Sorry for the delay in all of your replys and help i have been away in Canada sorting out details regarding the world championships.

I have been collecting some superb info on the hampden.

We have decidied on the Saito 5cylinder Radials for the model.

Priliminary drawings are underway. HOWEVER

There is always a HOWEVER, I am looking for detailed drawings of the undercarriage and cockpit and any other interior parts. i.e. whatever may be under access panels etc.

And if anyone has any ideas of other detail work that would add to the finished model please feel to throw ideas at me. I am surprised at the responces i have had with this model and i am really looking forward to its completion.

We have also decided that after the world championships we hope to display at several model shows and then to donate to a museum for people to enjoy
