Delays are to be expected anyway, its not going to be 100% perfect straight away, give them a chance.
What a sensible and balanced remark………..well put that man!
There is much to be uncovered and talked about within the WTO on this IMO.
Being an old fashioned “unreconstructed socialist” I personally have no problem with the “subsidy” scenario so long as all sides are clean and open about it. With the amount of information that I have to hand on this, I hope that the EU stands its ground, however as things come to light over the coming weeks I may change my mind….This is obviously a very complex issue and will be fundemental as to where the future of commercial aircraft building goes from here.
Cor! youv’e got to admit this sells papers if nothing else. But I have to ask the question….Are any of us on here sufficiently qualified to call the A350
“Half baked and not needed”? I’m now into year 23 of my ops. career and I don’t feel I am, but of course I can speculate that it is, only I don’t. 😉

A lot of the above were flown on during the course of my work except the really early types which I flew on in the good old days when parents funded your trips 🙂
Nothing new on EITHER SIDE! 🙁
But then when you read the other Observer article telling you that “Consultants” are creaming off 20bn from aid budgets it kinda makes this Airbus thing look small, don’t you think? At the end of the day this is nothing new. 🙁
No, I’m not now…another great pic! 😀
Great pics, nice to see Caravelles anytime. 🙂
Nice pics. Who operates the Dornier?
Absolutely stunning work….the first time I’ve ever seen internal lighting through a cabin window from outside in daylight! How close can u get..Great stuff. 😉
Point taken. 🙂
100% correct, 4 engines good. Without competition we would have stagnation – look at what happened to the airliner manufacturers in the Soviet Union for a perfect example of what you are saying.
Agree with first part of quote, but as the Soviet airliner industry existed purely to serve State decreed requirements, usually dictated by a current 5 year plan and not a commercial one, I’m not sure a direct comparison is accurate.
Think I still prefer Maersks previous scheme though 😉
Great selection, especially the KL F70 🙂
Thanks a lot, chaps.
Since we seem to have something of a MAN overload these days, I’ve decided that from now on (barring the unlikely scenario of me producing a shot so good that I just have to share it with you all) the only pictures from MAN that I’m going to be posting will be rare and unusual visitors or aircraft in special or colourful schemes. 😀
We’ll be ok for Tupolevs and Ilyushins then…………. 😀 😀
