Nice shots Peter. The Caravelle was definately the A320 of its day, but was better looking by far;)

Thanks for that Darren. I’m sure that I read somewhere, that the Tupolevs were used on Government duties, you’d probably know better than me

You can definately see the IL86 ancestry in the ’96. I’m surprised how quiet the ’96 was on take off. Thanks for posting

RIP:( Although I was only around 7 during the ‘Troggs’ heyday, I can remember my favourite track of theirs being ‘Wild Thing’ …..happy days.

Some very nice images. Two of my favourite subjects in a photograph, sunsets and the sea. Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks for that info Darren. We’re they still being flown when you were there? I know that Syrianair operated Tu154s and 134s at some time too.

Great shots there. I really have a soft spot for the F70.

EE, I hope it pans out for your better half. I was made redundant a few times in my 25yr aviation career, and its no fun. My late Uncle rode motorbikes throughout his adult life. Somewhere in the ‘family archives’ is a picy of yours truly astride his BSA of the time, prior to that, my mother tells me that he owned a bike called a Matchless, and another called an Ariel, she thinks that what they was called anyway. So it was his ‘fault’ that I got hooked on motorbikes.

Glad you’ve decided to go for the guitar, ‘It’s got to be done’ as they say;) And I’m a 54yr old sayin it!

    Neil.
