‘Air India 187’ lining up on runway 27 at Sofia to continue her journey to BHX after diverting in due to a medical emergency.

Making up a small story like that makes the pic more interesting right? 😀 .

The Flybe livery is very well suited to the weather, blends in quite well :D.

I would imagine not, I believe they are aiming for a two type fleet and that will ultimatley be the Dash-8 Q400 and the EMB-195. All the 146s will go eventually.

Was some snow on the ground here in Brum this morning but now it’s gone and has been a for a few hours, no major problems except with flights inbound from affected aiports and the flights going back.

will any 195s be based at NWI?

I can’t imagine any will be based (not in the short term anyway) but I’m sure some will pass through, they will be based (as the article says and in a similer pattern to the 737s) at BHX and eventually SOU and EXT.

Indeed, I find it hard to believe they think they can make a success of this route considering all the other operators on it! BA/CO/DL/PK and they want to move in on this market!?

Why not move further down the M6 about 90 miles 😀 :dev2: .
