Well this evening I downloaded an EAL 742 with the green stripe livery, now as I always do with a new aircraft I do a circuit around an airport and this type BRS was chose to host!

The combination of very bad weather (especially the X-wind) and the fact that we have short runway/747 it was perfect, the landing wasn’t very plesant so here are two shots of it for all too see!

    Enjoy :D.

    Who?

Well FR are obviously using the B738, EI are using a mix of A320/321s I believe an A332 was meant to be used on one of the flights Monday possibily) but a last minute change stopped this. Eirjet are in there aswell, A320?

Well great selections from everyone, I’m a bit hooked with my AI 744 mainly because it’s incredibly frame-rate freidnly but with fantastic detail!

Anyway did a short flight from Edwards Air Force Base to Las Vegas McCarren, enjoy! 😀

    Rotating off runway 22

Desending down for an ILS approach to runway 25L, about to pass over the Hoover Dam.

Very short final for runway 25L and you can see quite a mammoth queue for departure on 25R! I haven’t installed an AFCAD yet for the multiple runway useage (lazy I know :diablo: ).

This has come out quite small , must be the bloody file size.

And to finish off the best angle for a B747!

    Quite intimidating isn’t it!?

I usually reduce the ground graphic levels to give a more smooth performance which I prefer or which I have to use because of my computer!

Seems BHX have dismissed the report….

Birmingham International Airport (BIA) has today dismissed a report by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, which implies that Dangerous levels of toxic gas have been detected at BIA, as misleading.

Despite the Airport having an on-site monitoring station, the results from which are independently verified, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy chose to use NO2 data gathered by the side of the M42, and then bizarrely attempted to link the results with Birmingham International Airport. Over 90% of the traffic on the M42 is not related to BIA

Determined to meet and improve on all statutory requirements, BIA has, since 1995, stationed a monitoring site on the airfield, which is overseen by both Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, and the City of Birmingham Council. No exceedences of NO2 have ever been recorded.

John Morris, Head of Corporate & Community Affairs at BIA said, “I am no Scientist, yet even I can see that to rely on an off-site survey when better data are available, is likely to produce erroneous and inaccurate results. Using a survey station plonked on top of the M42, when we have an independently-verified station on site, is going to give misleading results so far as the airport activity is concerned. Over 90% of the traffic on the M42 is not airport-related.

“I would imagine that other airports are also incensed – the report puts Exeter, with 671,000 passengers a year, in the same league as Manchester, with 20 Million passengers a year. Clearly something is a bit iffy about their report!”

Must say I really like the way it’s put :D.

I believe they are aiming for a two type fleet and that will ultimatley be the Dash-8 Q400 and the EMB-195. All the 146s will go eventually.

Ian Cheese was there who is head of recruitment for the Dash fleet for FlyBe and he basically said ALL 146s will be replaced by the Embraer 195 to leave an all Dash Q400 & Emb 195 fleet

    Thank you :D.

    Hmmmm very interesting! 😀

Tis a fantasty model I think, looks like a Saab 2000 with jet engines but with a fuselage similer to the ERJ-145 and with winglets! must say though that is the first time I’ve seen that.

Great selection, especially with the Evergreen 747’s wobbly landing :D.
