    Why?? perplexed!!

I believe he’s edging at the fact it’s used what ‘appears’ to be half the runway taking off empty. So logic would dictate if it was loaded with passengers it would be a whole lot closer to the end of the runway before rotation :D.

Although I’m not sure that logic work’s either, surely the runway take-off distance isn’t just dependent on fuel load…..engine power, weather, flap settings etc all come into it too :p ;).

    Amnazing shots there though!

And apparently John Carpenter commended Rob Zombie’s efforts?! 😮

    Yep….maybe because it was good!

I myself also consider myself a massive fan of the Halloween series and will own up to the fact I own every copy of the Halloween franchise except no. 3. Admittedly Halloween 4, 5, Ressurection a bloody awful but I have them because I just feel I have a need too :D.

Although nothing will ever match up with the original I think Rob Zombie had a damn good go at it and did an awesome job with it aswell. It certainly ranks among the top 3 in my view…..along with the original and H20 😎 .

Give it a chance is all I say ;).

Dont mean to dash your hopes, but I have been to BHX before and I didnt really enjoy it much. The only thing I do like about it is the gift shop!

In terms of traffic though, all there was a couple of Flybe Dash 8’s/ERJ’s, an Eastern Airways JS41 and the Emirates 777, thats about it. I got really bored, so I took a wander round the terminal and then went home!

Abit harsh to judge the airport on one visit, adding to what Matt above already wrote you also have the PIA B777s, Turkmenistan B757s and other operators such as Norwegian Air Shuttle and FlyWhoosh make for an interesting sight.

Being a LGW local I’m sure anywhere that’s not LGW/LHR/MAN would count as quiet and boring ….

I can’t believe they didn’t elect to go around on that approach??

Yeah that was quite scary to watch.

    ’30 Days Of Night’

    Wiki link – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30_Days_of_Night_%28film%29

Awesome film about a small mountain community in Alaska preparing for a month of darkness, a brilliant vampire movie and one which will be added to my collection as soon as it is out.

Did creep me out a few times I must say :D. Josh Hartnett is a highly underated actor in my opinion, alright he’s picked quite a few dodgy films but I think he throws in a great performance here!

One problem I had was I though character development was poor, you found yourself caring for the ‘main’ actors who did the most talking. Here was a community in absolute terror and once one of the minors of the group died you didn’t pay too much attention.

    Go see it though .

Anyone got any idea which MYT A320 im likely to be on this winter to Sofia from Birmingham. Im wondering if im on a CFM or VE engined A320

You won’t really know this untill a week before departure as charter units are swapped all the time etc and an a/c that is based at BHX may not end up operating your flight.

and also wondering which A320’s have leather interiors.

Someone else can answer that because I’m not sure.

Departing at 6:25 what time will i likely see sunrise on 5th Jan.

Probably looking at around 7.30/8.00am UK time
