Any Ideas how i could find his Location?
So if its Marine Craft what sort of duty’s would you hazard a guess at, he would of been 31 years old as born in 1909.like you say it does read Marine Craft on the RAF abbreviations section.he was also an N.C.O.
The Certificate of Service and Release was signed by a Squadron Leader, not sure if that may throw in some light.
Thanks for all your reply’s,ref (Tangmere 1940)it definitely reads (M.C.)
I guess it could be some of the other suggestions, but what i cant understand is why it would have Clk/Gd before the (M.C.) maybe he was employed for 2 Duties? i would of thought the Clerk would of been some sort of Clerical division.
It would be great if a Lancaster could get down to Reculver in Thannet, as not to far from me, i often go there with a book (wartime of course) i always get a great feeling when walking the beach, still cant seem to find a bouncing bomb relic though (ha ha.)
Joking apart It would be great to actually witness the great aircraft in this great surrounding. often wonder if anyone actually witnessed the practice bomb runs, apart from the air ministry etc. (they could tell a great story.)

Thanks Antoni, so it appears there are different accounts of Josef Frantiseks kills on the 6/9/40. (I guess his flying log book would be handy.)
Just found in the polish 303 B.O.B. diary by Richard King, it states on page with the combat claims 30th Aug – 7th Oct that Josef Frantisek on the 6/9/40 shot down Me 109 -4 (2762) 5/Jg 27. of which was Luftwaffe pilot F.W. Erich Braun.
Thanks for all your reply’s so far, i had seen the reference to P B Robinson 601 Squadron, having claimed Erich Brauns Me 109, but i find it a little confusing as in the 303 (Polish squadron) book by Richard king on page 110 there is a ref to Erich Braun stating aircraft number time etc, it states that the Polish squadron had also claimed the Me 109 of Eric Braun Having been caught up in a dog fight over Kent. would anyone know whether 601 Squadron and 303 squadron were on the same scramble? any help would be appreciated Cheers Brad.
Does anyone have a value of this type of prop in relic condition? also i have a Mk 1 Blenheim prop in much the same condition that was fished out near Ramsgate in the 70s, could anyone give me a rough value? (it still has the hub and gearing)
Many Thanks for replys,

Also notice about halfway across the indent, where i would say the aerial mask would of hit the wind deflector on impact.
Again a SHAME I.D. of this Anson has been lost, unless anyone can narrow down the Airacaft manufacture, I.E. The Date was 14/5/39 as there hopefully cant of been to many made within that month, also taking in how many would of crashed.Other details i have read as follows on an I.D. plate
