    Adam,
Mate thanks for all the info, however I had left the house before I could see it…damm! I detoured to EMA and parked in the short stay car park and went into the terminal as I knew there was a aviation shop inside. Met a chap with a camera who was a little unhelpful and just pointed me in the direction of the aeropark. Unfortuatley there was not much movement (1400ish) with only a RYR and a Baby departing. Funny thging when I got to my meeting at Waddington I thought I would get some pictures of the E3D’s but even they had gone off to Fairford for an exercise and the runway was closed for work. The only thing flying was the Air Ambulance….ah well. Thanks again for the superb info, it has given me an idea that maybe we should start a thread with submissions of where to go to get the best shots at UK..and other airports.

    All the best

Great shots mate, your depth of (as usual) perfect, I need to get to grips with that!! The ERJ is an interesting visitor and that A320 parked on stand 1, any idea what airline it was and who was operating the ERJ. I am trying to get a shot of the new Easyjet A319 (BD) but keep missing her.

Great pics Paul, I love AMS. Isn’t it a shame we will not be seeing the NWA DC10 anymore, it is a great classic jet.

Great pictures mate, I was in Brussels last week (4-6th) for a meeting, flew SN from Bristol. Whilst waiting for the return flight I noticed that the aircraft taxi really fast between the two main terminals at Brussels, especially a DO228 that I really thought was going to take off from the taxiway…..From the photos you have produced, next time I will bring my camera.

    Guys,
Apologies for not commenting but I have been away on a Aviation Safety Case course..death by calculator; thanks for all your kind words. I have heard a rumour that a FCA 767 maybe operating to Cancun later this month from Bristol. If I hear anything I will post.

James, Deano, Of course you can use the shots no problems.

Phil, as Craigston Tom says, it is a GB A320 operating the new schedule to Tenerife Sur, I think it also operates a few times during the week.

Have you heard that FCA are going to be operating a 767-300 into Bristol for the new Cancun service? Should be an interesting take off……!

    James,
It owned by a company called Sunadria and operated by Tradeair, the aircraft operates on Saturday from Split to Bristol and return. Here’s some photos of it for you to enjoy.

Second suprise at Bristol this evening.

Thanks guys for the comments…Phil we will meet someday I hope!

Here is a few pics of the other suprise this evening. Kestral 707 declared an emergency 1 hour out from Bristol on his was to FUE when the FO’s windshield cracked, apparantly the aircraft did a max rate decent to get to FL100 – below. Apologies about the quality of the shots, I have tried to zoom in on the windshield but the picture started to pixelate. To see it it looked like a car windshield that had the lamination smashed.

You can just see the window in question on the stbd side of the aircraft, through the port windshield
