Good to see air to air photos of that hot ship. Seems ages ago the machine was in our hangar.

The Dx based & visiting crews operated the machines as they should have, with the upmost professionalism, hence the cancellation of the mass spitfire slot at the end of saturdays flying programme, due to excessive gusting across the active.
You will find find that many of the participants had to cancel due to the terrible weather conditions over the UK in the last few days, which claimed the live’s of several people.
It was amazing the airshow took place at all after the massive downpours in the morning & early afternoon.
Aircraft did’nt appear due to not being booked but becuase the operators correctly put safety before display commitments
he’s destined for the chain gang!

My wish is
Not to be called ” boy ” or have the whistle being blown at me during the weekend. To have my yellow truckers cap on said head, without comments being made by ” team spitfire “.
And finally…..I listen to the sound of “O say can you see” being sung over the airwaves by someone slightly crazy
Goxhill, North Lincolnshire. First home of the 78th FG

Sorry, I doubt it.
Thought you’d agree.
And on another note, just to avoid double posting, was the Watch Office at Prees Heath?
