    My NYR’s

1 Stopped being a **** with money, when I was growing up we never had a lot of cash, been working full time for 4 years and just lately have stopped saving, and started acting like an idiot with my money and it has to stop.

2 Get my airshow game finished or at least the simple version, ffs I first started working it out in summer 2003.

3 Start helping out at the RSPCA as its a couple of years since I last did anything their.

Just wondered, approx how many warbirds that used to fly in the last 20 years have now become static exhibits?

Don’t forget the LVG, it was flying with the Shuttleworth collection but now sits at Cosford prior to a rebuild.

Then theirs XL502 that Gannet that was on the airshow circuit in the late 80s.

    MikeJ “together with the ex-OFMC MiG 15 G-OMIG “

The ex OFMC MIG is flying in Brazil or some South American country or other.

Thats right Robbo as I said a few months back,

The thing with East Kirkby is its not a suitable place to operate an airworthy Lancaster from thus meaning NX611 would have to move to another base and the heart of an excellent museum would be ripped out and that seems so uncalled for while PA747 is still airworthy.

[qoute]They are not keen on old aircraft, just look at the resistance they have put up over the Vulcan/Lightning/Buccaneer.[/qoute]

Try telling that to HHA (XX885) and VOC (XH558).

Its a shame that BAE never got their Vulcan XM603 flying, for a time BAE did gave a lot of help to get all its systems and engines working again.

First is a certain **** from work who is a total bloody snob, and is trying to make a formal dress code, so then I will have to work on mankey and filthy ovens in a suit, good idea not 🙁 🙁 🙁 anyway I will stick to old tracky bottoms and t shirt.

Thick little mupppits who spend about 15mins in the burger-stand queue at airshows and then take a further 10 mins to decide what the hell to order, sodding hell can you not decide while queuing up.

People who drive around at 3am playing music at full whack from their gay little cars, don’t these fools ever sleep turn the crap off at night OK.

Dippy little rich mummy’s boys who ain’t ever had a job and moan and go on and on about how hard their life is, oh sure try bloody working for a living.

Sorry about the language but thats got a few things of my chest 🙂

Oh I just knew their was something else I wanted to go and see on the way back from Newark Air Museum, and I went right past Newark again a couple of weeks back on the way to Waddo.

Both times I forget to go and see this Lightning, anyway Hatton thanks for posting the photos, maybe the owner could flog it as “urban art” or whatever.

You have a good idea here Geforce, a sort of chillout-nonsense forum would be a good place for people to **** about, yet keep this forum for more sensible and serious discussions.

“A very limited number of members consider this place has their “own place” and many thread such as ” Bubble wrap -the poll” , “Death match” etc have appeared.”

I’m sorry but I take offense to your comments here, as the person who started the bubble wrap thread I will say right now its just a bit of a laugh.

Their is plenty of deep and serious stuff posted here on a regular basis, and a chillout thread like “bubble wrap” can be a good distraction.

That said I don’t think anyone here considers this forum their “own place” but all threads from the deadly serious to the total waste of time stuff have a place here.

No one is forced to participate in any particular thread, so just ignore the ones that you have no interest in and take part in the ones that do interest you.
