    Hi

It would be nice if they could move it over into the visitor center along with the F4 and get them both undercover their.

Still it wont happen but it would be nice 🙂

What a shame just hope that when it goes the cockpit gets saved and some parts can help other Vulcan’s.

If their was ever an example of how not stop preserve a plane this is it.

Well yes they should have saved one and it should have been on display at cosford. It might not seem important now but who knows in 20 years time it might be the only Nimrod variant not to still exist.

    XM612

    Hi peter

Yes the Vulcan is live but the engines are not run up they could be however as at least 3 are in very good condition.

The paintwork looks crap but its only cosmetic underneath its alot better and a repaint would have it looking good as new.

    Hi

This might sound strange but thanks to Roy Jacobsen their are 2 Vulcan taxing 🙂

Because of him abandoning XL426 and XM655 they were both sold on and rebuilt to taxing condition If he had scrapped them when the CAA said he would not be able to fly them and then ran out of cash their would be no taxing Vulcan’s at all today.

Strange way to look at it but is true.

    Hi stringbag

Be nice if they ran it up at the Airshow every year It could only benefit the airframe etc 🙂

Still at least its safe and happy indoors.
