Can’t wait to see the 787 fully built and rolled out, i’ve had enough of all these computer generated artist impressions rubbish!:D
hahaha what a right pair of idiots!!!
The A380 will look smashing in kingfisher’s livery, lets hope they don’t change between now and then:rolleyes:
It might be returning to bmi,G-WWBD is a bmi aircraft on temporary lease,
(also Virgin nigeria have a 767 coming if it’s not already arrived)
Where are the engines!? ,that’s a great sign that an aircraft is almost ready for delivery-no engines! something tells me that airbus just wanted the thing painted to look as they’re doing something positive, when in fact they still have a lot of work to do,alot of time to scratch that lovely paint between now & october:D
I was hoping they would use a 767,but a 757 will do just fine, alot of the charters suffer from delays so i suppose this is no different:rolleyes:
Nice shots, missed those as well as the Lufthansa MD-11F on friday…need to pack in working & goin to college…spotting is much better:D
I echo the sentiment that ryanair & any other large order don’t pay list price, ryanair also got a great deal on winglets too, they certainly know how to haggle, but i would say they won’t have much joy with their long-haul order as boeing don’t need to sell the 787, it does it itself,so maybe A350’s for ryanair long-haul?
My workprocess isn’t as quite as detailed as some other’s here,as i’ve never really had time to sit down and see what adobe photoshop can really do,i use the elements 4.0 which i’m not sure if it has everything i need, but it was the only one in PC world at the time,my flow is as follows,
Crop using photo ratio
Adjusts levels to my own eye really,no numbers to it?
Adjust colour saturation if need be
Sharpen using the unsharp mask, using a radius of 0.3 has really improved things,
Then save in a different location,as you never know i might someday become really good at editing and need the original;)
…great thread by the way, loads of fantastic photographers so always a joy to share tips:)
Blue Panorama is an italian airline but like a lot of italian carries lease aircraft from irish based companies,so alot of their aircraft remain on the irish register;)
thanks again guys…was a great day yesterday;)
here it is, i’m standing on a mound about 30-40ft high, directly in front of me there’s a hut of some sort (power sub station:confused: ),but that’s the only obstruction,in the photograph there’s a clear view for at least the whole length of the fence visible in the shot, with a clear view all the way down, i don’t think the airport authority built it on purpose but since they ruined the 28 end with the new fence….(what come round goes round i suppose:D )
….also a new mound which i noticed currently under construction is on the other side of the runway opposite to where i was today that could come in very handy in the summer evenings-facing south;),looks like DUB is getting a bit more spotter friendly:)
Thanks guys, was so excited i forgot to mention that once they changed to runway 10, tried out a new spot, it’s been there a while but the opportunity never arose before but i gave it ago this morning, it’s bascially a huge mount that runs four about 1500m along the length of runway 10/28 and it’s basically take your pick where-ever you like, i’ve a photo somewher that show’s this..i’ll have a a route round for it….;)
if you’ve got good lenses that you can use on a new DSLR then go with the brand they work with,so for Canon that’s the 400D,if your looking at nikon then the D80 is the only way to go,it’s a fantastic camera & speaking from experience it’s a significant improvement on the D50 which is out of production now,i would also strongly advise purchasing from one of the huge camera shops in hong kong through ebay, there’s one shop in particular that gurantee no tax,and the savings to be had on brand new equipment are tremendous;) …i got my D80 from hong kong & the tax man here in ireland only €60 as opposed to €400:rolleyes:
Thanks as always guys;)
