thanks alot for that piece of info,i was wondering about the AF-area,and you’ve sorted that out for me:) ,thanks again!
the info i got about the AF modes came from the D80 manual, they don’t really go into great detail..i suppose i’ll just have to keep experimenting,AF-S seems to work but only when the aircaft is in the sky(ie no ground in the shot) ..thanks for the reply;)
I couldn’t believe my luck that it was in on the day i happened to be there:) ,so i’m happy to get some sort of shot;)
I did indeed see it,although i was on the wrong section of the viewing deck to get the best angle for the sun:rolleyes:

No just the viewing deck, from the deck it’s more possible to see all the movements,so that was a reason for staying on the deck, plus you can never be sure of the weather, but hopefully in the future i can get round to some of the other spots at AMS;)
They were taken from the massive viewing deck that AMS has,and i must say i’ve never seen anything like it,it takes about 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other!,i’m spending all my free time at the moment editing my photos, but with college and my part time job,i’ve very little time to sit down and go through them, but i will post the good one…eventually;)
I hope to see some good things out of it myself:D ,i thought the KLM A330’s look very good indeed,i’m jealous that they use them to LHR on such a short flight and there was me flying back to DUB on a half full Aer lingus A321,i must book a flight for the laugh through LHR to AMS just to fly on a heavy!
Yeah that’s true, there’s no enough demand out of dublin to satisfy all ryanair and aer lingus flights as well as the european carriers,i suppose soon enough nearly 100% of all short haul will be EI or FR:mad:
Makes sense alirght, thanks you’ve been a huge help;)
No i don’t it wasn’t a SUD 747,defintely a 742 of some description,i think it had windows so that rules out on the MP 742’s?
Thanks a million for that, the martinair 747 was a 200 i’d say,it was in a bad way though in just the basic scheme no titles,it was pushed out of the hanger that’s up from the fokker hanger,i got the martinair 747BCF as MPQ,thanks again for those.
Thanks lads for the compliments, jus about to dive into the photos from yesterday in AMS….:o there’s so many!…gona be a while:rolleyes:
I should have mentioned that spare time doesn’t include sleep time which i have to say in summer is quite substantial!:D
So will I !!!,hopefully it will be worth the signifcant hole in pocket!
